10th Street Townes

At the turn of the century, First Ward’s Garden District emerged as Charlotte’s dynamic, new, urban housing neighborhood. Tenth Street Townes is an addition to the diverse housing opportunities in this area offering unique brownstone style townhouses. Among many other advantages, the site is just blocks from the North Tryon corridor and trolley link to the historic South End District, which caters to the young professional market. The project’s 28,000sf encompass 15 three-story townhouse units with fourth floor roof terraces. Each townhome features a garage with storage space, open plans with ten-foot ceilings, flowing flexible spaces, and Charlotte skyline views from the terraces above. Unique finishes such as wide-plank, field-finished wood flooring on the interior and colorful seamed roofing were used to give subtle sophistication to the details.
