City View Lofts

As with many modern-day projects, parking presented a unique challenge to this higher density low-rise building. A significant slope to the site provided an opportunity for an underground parking deck for 25 condo units in the heart of the Garden District. The parking deck creates a “tabletop” for the loft units to sit on. Multiple layers of masonry detail and color help anchor the primary street elevation on an active, prominent edge of First Ward. Additional materials include smooth fiber cement panel and trim with colorful steel railings and accent elements. The units vary in size from 650-850sf. The open plans are further accentuated by 10-foot ceilings and expansive windows.
