Axiom’s Ashley Damiano to present at Symposium in Paris

Axiom Architecture is proud to announce that Ashley Damiano will be speaking at the upcoming Design Modeling Symposium in Paris next week. The event is held each year as a platform to explore the relationship between humans and data generated from computational design in the environment of Architecture, Engineering, and Art. She will be presenting her research which focuses on the use of real-time weather data for specific locations to analyze high-rise building forms with regard to collection of wind-driven rain on vertical surfaces. Luxury multifamily project by Miller-Valentine Group opening this week

The first luxury multifamily development by the Charlotte office of Miller-Valentine Group is opening this week.

Beckett Farms, at 1111 Gennett Circle near the intersection of Gold Hill Road and Interstate 77 in Fort Mill, will open with an event at 6 p.m. on Thursday. The 280-unit development broke ground last summer.

Charles Rulick, vice president of multifamily development at Miller-Valentine, said in a statement that, with Beckett Farms, the firm hoped to combine modern apartment living with a prime Fort Mill location, which is surrounded by a creek and wooded area.
