Axiom Office Upfit

Occupying space on the first through third floors of the Trademark high-rise building in Uptown Charlotte, this office upfit allowed Centro Cityworks Development and Axiom Architecture to establish a presence in the uptown business district. It also provided an opportunity for them to expand their offices for future growth. Each level of this upfit is connected with vertical circulation that serves as a central design element within the spaces. The first floor, occupied by the development company sales center, allows for ground level access from Trade Street. The sales center is connected to the second floor by an open, stained wood stair. The second floor houses the main offices for Centro Cityworks, Axiom Architecture’s design studio, and associated conference and work rooms. A dramatic stainless steel monumental stair with translucent treads rises from the main lobby on this floor to additional offices on the third floor above. The upper office levels also connect to elevators that provide access to structured parking and ground level exiting.
