Bull & Elmwood

Axiom Architecture is working with Astral Development to bring a new, mixed-use development to the busy corner of Bull Street and Elmwood Avenue in Columbia, South Carolina. Building on the momentum of the nearby BullStreet District, this building will add 288 apartments and approximately 19,000 SF of retail space to the neighborhood. Residents will have options of studio, one, two, and three-bedroom apartment layouts and will enjoy amenities ranging from an elevated pool deck to a top-floor lounge and terrace with views of downtown. The structure will consist of five stories of Type IIIA wood-framed construction over three levels of Type IA concrete construction, much of which will provide space for both resident and retail visitor parking. This project is expected to break ground in 2026.
