Centro Square

This Centro CityWorks’ project is the second phase of The Square at Southend development led by Beacon Partners in the heart of South End. Wrapping the parking garage that also serves the office building, is the second micro-apartment project Axiom and Centro CityWorks have created together.  Much like the Railyard project, The Square Apartments project was designed with the idea in mind that the neighborhood is an amenity.  Residents enjoy a communal fitness center, street-level incubator retail spaces, skyline views of Uptown Charlotte, and a direct connection to the future Wilmore Centennial Park.

This building is Type IIIA and Type IA construction, with five floors of wood-framed residential units over a concrete podium.  The community opened to residents in May 2022.
