Wander

Axiom Architecture worked with The RMR Group on this new off-campus student apartment community in Wilmington, North Carolina. With its proximity to UNC Wilmington’s campus, Wander will provide housing for students in 146 units in the 8 residential buildings on site with a mix of 2, 3 and 4-bedroom units. The largest building will host the community’s amenity spaces as well as 10,000 square feet for future commercial tenants. Residents will enjoy amenities such as a two-story fitness space, private study rooms, a lounge and a club room with a roof terrace overlooking the pool courtyard. The project will be a mix of Type VA and VB wood-framed construction. Construction is anticipated to begin early 2026.
